cabritos al pastor

our last night in monterrey, mexico was a really fantastic dinner with alex, monica, alex's mum. we had cabritos al pastor (baby goat).

you can see the cabritos cooking away above the charcoal grill.

i (luke) indulged in the whole head (including bones) and even tried one testicle. the latter had a very strong flavour which i wasn't used to.

that night we flew to mexico city...
